| This is a hands on class, students will create individual one of a kind two and three dimensional objects based on sculptural design. Students will be exposed to images of sculpture and the artists that created them including Picasso, Giacometti, Chihuly, Moore, and others. This class explores the various materials used to create sculptures, which include wood, plaster, wire, cardboard, paper mache, and plastic. Students will learn how to manipulate these materials to create geometric, abstract, organic, and representations forms of art inspired by their own creativity.
