You will learn human anatomy, medical terminology, office procedures, pharmacology, medical ethics and clinical procedures. Practical training is performed in capturing vital signs and measurements, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, electrocardiography, and assisting with examinations and procedures. This program will also help you prepare for the National Healthcareer Association Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam and conclude with a 180-hour externship in a physician office or urgent care setting.
