The First War In The Air Part II

1917-1918 The Air War escalates with improved aviation technology and weapons. Long-range bombers, observation balloons, Zeppelins, Seaplanes, and new fighter aircraft are introduced. On the Western Front, “Bloody April” decimates the British Air Service, while the French and newly deployed Americans hold their own. Famous “Aces” on both sides began to fall as the war attrition, exhaustion and War Weariness set in. Course 2 of the series on World War I aviation, “War in the Air” by History Instructor Gerald W.
