This is a 1-week virtual camp for Minecraft. Minecraft is a 3D sandbox game where campers will use their creativity to overcome various challenges. The activities of this camp will help campers improve at skills such as communication and teamwork that will benefit them inside and outside the game. In addition to improving in-game skills, campers will learn healthy habits and practices that are prevalent in the Esports industry such as health and nutrition, mindfulness, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Campers will be using Discord to communicate with peers and camp staff. They must have a Discord account prior to camp registration. Discord usernames will be needed as part of registration.

The Minecraft game client is free to download. Game Clients are used to launch games. The Minecraft game is not free. Previously, there were two separate versions of Minecraft one could purchase: Java Edition or Bedrock. Minecraft has reduced confusion by making one version consumers can purchase. This version is called Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition, and it allows users to switch between Java and Bedrock versions with one account. Campers must own their own account before the beginning of camp.
