This is a 1-week virtual camp to introduce one of the most popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games to campers – League of Legends! The activities of this camp will help campers improve at skills such as communication and teamwork that will benefit them inside and outside the game. In addition to learning League of Legends, campers will learn healthy habits and practices that are prevalent in the Esports industry such as health and nutrition, mindfulness, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Campers will be using Discord to communicate with peers and camp staff. They must have a Discord account prior to camp registration. Discord usernames will be needed as part of registration.
