Who Really Won the West?

The American Westward movement was the most monumental expansion in the history of the world. This class will explore the men and women who pioneered that movement.  The personalities coupled with historic events make dramatic and inspiring stories that need to be told. Students will meet personalities like Lewis & Clark, Crockett, the builders to the transcontinental railroad, Fremont, Pike and Carson as well as those who drove the herds north.
