A Short History of Food - Part I

Today humans spend quite a bit of time growing, harvesting, marketing and just plain thinking about food. In 2020, many magazines and TV shows are devoted to its preparation. Grocery stores are found in every town. Depending on where one lives in the world, there is either too much or not enough food available and diets vary from continent to continent.

How did this come about? What did people eat through the centuries around the world and how did we move from scarcity to an abundance of food in the Western world. The answers to these questions and many more will be discussed in this course. A few recipes many even be shared!
