Raspberry Pi Programming I (Grades 5-8)

Learn how the Raspberry Pi (RPi) computer works and how to program and control it.  The RPi is a fully-functional, low-cost, and low-power computer that can use sensors to read data from the real world and control devices.  This camp will enable participants to use and program the RPi in the areas of robots, home automation, music, digital art, security, and wearable technology.  Campers will learn the basics of Python programming.  If enrolled in both weeks of the RPi courses (levels 1 and 2), students will get to bring home the RPi computer and all the software.  Each camper will receive a copy of the software that they built.
