Boys of Summer-Hollywood's Best Baseball Films

Our national pastime has inspired some of Hollywood's most belo?ved movies. From baseball legends Lou Gehrig and Jackie Robinson, to fictional heroes  Bull Durham and Roy Hobbs, this course will be an 8 week journey into what can be called America's  unique world.of myth and legend. The films studied will include " Pride of the Yankees," "Fear Strikes Out,""Bang the Drum Slowly,"  "Eight Men Out," "Bull Durham," "The Natural," "Field of Dreams," and "42" (The Jackie Robinson Story).
