The World Between the Wars (WWI & WWII)

As WWI ended the Victorian Age, the 1920's and 30's were an incubator for the Modern world which replaced it.  In this class, we will see how both the Western and Eastern world changes between 1919 and 1939.  Areas covered will include politics and the military, revolutions, the world economy and the Great Depression, changes in clothing styles and eating habits, the world of entertainment, technology and communication and architecture and the growth of cities as well as scientific discoveries.
