Geography, Grapes and Wines of France

France and wine are arguably inseparable terms.  Nearly every kind of wine style has emerged from France including reds, whites, rose, sparkling, and dessert wines. They have set the standard for quality production methods and grape choices for most of the modern day wines we drink. This wine history class will provide an overview of French wine law and how to apply that to reading a bottle label.
