  1. Introduction to categorical data analysis:
    • Obtain and interpret relative risk, odds-ratios, and confidence intervals for odds-ratios.
  2. Binary Logit Models I:
    • Fit and interpret a simple logistic regression model.
    • Assess model fitness & classification rates.
  3. Binary Logit Models II:
    • Fit and interpret a multiple logistic regression model.
    • Assess model fitness & classification rates.
    • Perform model diagnostics & selection.
  4. Generalized Logit Models:
    • Fit and interpret the model.
    • Assess model fitness & classification rates.
    • Perform model diagnostics & selection.
  5. Cumulative Logit Models (The Proportional Odds Model):
    • Fit and interpret the model.
    • Assess model fitness & classification rates.
    • Perform model diagnostics & selection.
  6. Evaluate multivariate normality and propose appropriate data transformations if needed.
  7. Perform a Descriptive Discriminant Analysis and summarize the results.
