The Gilded Age: 1866-1900, the forgotten decades in United States History

 This course invites students to discover a topic not often discussed about the Civil War’s reconstruction period. Students will look at expansion, both industrial and national, increased immigration, growth of our cities, more rapid communication and transportation, and of course political scandals.
