CompTIA™ Linux+ - Online

Linux+ is a foundation level certification for Linux administrators. By taking the Linux+ program you will become an expert in one of the world’s most popular Operating Systems. Linux is extremely popular within Fortune 500 and Government organizations, due to its ability to withstand large amounts of users as well as its ability for customization. With the amount of infrastructure built on Linux, there is always a large demand for those that are proficient in the technology. Upon completing our Linux+ prep course, you will be qualified to work in a variety of roles supporting Linux technology, such as Linux administrator, network support, network technician, and many others. Thanks to our virtual lab program, known as “Live Labs,” you will have the hands-on skills necessary to succeed in marketing yourself towards these types of positions.

Prerequisites: Skills, knowledge, experience, software and computer orientation required prior to enrollment. Recommended Experience to take the CompTIA Linux+ Certification exams: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and 12 months of Linux admin experience. Requirements: This program can be taken from either a Mac or a PC. It is compatible with the Windows 2000 and later operating systems and any browsers. There are no specific computer requirements other than an Internet connection and e-mail account. We recommend that you use the latest version of the browser you choose. The materials for this program are all available online.
