| This course is designed to introduce students to the French language and francophone cultures. No prior knowledge of French is required. Through a fun, interactive, and communicative approach, you will be placed in real life situations allowing an acquisition of basic language skills. All four language skills (listening, writing, speaking, and reading) will be presented with a strong emphasis on listening and comprehension and oral communication. Various cultural topics will be explored to expand one’s awareness of French culture around the world.
