With the need for financial planning services at an all-time high, individuals are looking to secure their financial future and they need a professional, competent advisor to get there. This Certified Financial Planner course provides existing and future financial professionals with the skills and training needed to deliver comprehensive and accurate personal financial planning services to their clients. Through this curriculum you will learn to analyze and advise in all core areas of personal financial planning.

This 14-month course is taught by industry professionals who are part of the financial services community within the Atlanta-Metro area. 

KSU is an established institution with the CFP Board of Standards, Inc. Upon successful completion of the Certified Financial Planner™ Program, students are then eligible to apply for the CFP® certification examination.

This course will cover:

  • Income Tax Planning
  • Investment Planning
  • Retirement Planning
  • Estate Planning
  • Financial Plan Development (Capstone)
The financial planning field is one of the fastest growing professions in America. In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts financial planner jobs will grow faster than average due to the wealthier and longer-living population requiring more financial guidance. As demand for qualified planners grows, intense competition will continue for these well-paying jobs. Professionals who have extensive educational training and national certification will have the best opportunities.
