Please Note: If you don't have prior experience with either the WordPress.com hosted version, the self-hosted WordPress.org, or other Web publishing tools, you should have a strong familiarity with the Internet and very good computer skills. Requirements: Internet access, e-mail, Firefox or Internet Explorer web browser. The WordPress.org software is free; but in order to use it, you'll need to register a domain name and set up an account with a hosting company for a minimum of three months, at a cost of around $10 per month. We'll show you how to find a host and install the software. You'll need a computer with broadband Internet access, running any recent version of the Windows or Mac operating systems.
You will need to create a login for your online classroom. Go to www.ed2go.com/ksuconed. Find your course by browsing the catalog or using the search bar. Click the 'Add to Cart' button. Select your start date and then create a Username and Password. You must make an 80 or higher on the final exam (online) to successfully complete the course. You may only take the exam once.
