Whether you’re new to programming or just want to learn a new language, this in-depth course will teach you the ins and outs of Python programming. In this course, you will gain an understanding of programming in Python by learning how to work with iPhone Notebook, the Collections Module, regular expressions, databases, CSV files, JSON, and XML. You will get a rapid introduction to NumPy, pandas, and matplotlib, all of which are Python libraries. This comprehensive program covers introductory through advanced methods of Python.
Prerequisites: None, though some prior programming language knowledge is helpful.
Requirements:This program can be taken on either a PC or a Mac OS X. It is compatible with the Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and later operating systems and with the latest versions of any of the following browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari.
Dual monitors are helpful but NOT required. Our Introduction to Python course uses IDLE, a simple Python IDE/editor that comes bundled with Python. All you need for class is to have Python 3.3 or later installed and to download the class files.
