This Microsoft Private Cloud Certification Training course covers methodologies required to securely deploy, manage, and maintain cloud technologies specific to Microsoft. This program provides a rich learning environment, incorporating a blend of visual, auditory, and hands-on learning. You will gain a thorough understanding of the material no matter what type of individual learner you are. The program is closely aligned to the curriculum for the Microsoft Private Cloud credential and corresponding exams. Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive exam vouchers for the Microsoft Private Cloud industry certification exams 70-246 and 70-247 at no additional cost.

Prerequisites: This program is recommended for IT industry professionals with prior experience or training or certification in Microsoft server administration. All students should have a basic understanding of how to use a computer, in addition to basic networking skills. These skills can be learned in programs such as CompTIA A+ and Network+. This program will prepare you for the Microsoft Private Cloud industry certification exams, 70-246 and 70-247. After completing the program, you're encouraged to set up your own exam dates and times at a testing center close to you. An exam voucher is included in the cost of tuition. Please check the Microsoft website for their testing requirements.

Requirements: This program can be taken on a Mac or a PC. On a PC, it is compatible with Windows XP and later operating systems and IE 7 and later browsers. On a Mac, the program is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 and later operating systems, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari 5.1.9 or later browsers. We highly recommend that you use Chrome and Firefox in place of other web browsers. Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Acrobat Reader are required for this course. For the online labs, students will be required to install and configure VirtualBox (instructions provided in program). VirtualBox runs on most 32-bit or 64-bit operating systems, including those listed above. A minimum of 4GB RAM is required and 6GB of RAM is recommended. 10GB of hard drive storage space is recommended.

  • Design and deploy scalable system center resources architecture.
  • Configure the storage and network fabric.
  • Configure and deploy virtual machines and services, including App-V services.
  • Troubleshoot common problems.
