Are you looking to kickstart your career in the growing field of networking? Our CompTIA Network+ Certificate is a great place to start. The CompTIA Network+ certification is a comprehensive, vendor-neutral credential that will help you prepare for a career in IT infrastructure including troubleshooting, configuring, maintaining, and managing networks. The course will cover everything from network theory to network implementation and security, making it ideal for entry-level technology professionals or for use as a springboard to pursue vendor-specific networking certifications, such as Cisco CCNA. By the end of the course, you will learn the essentials of bounded and unbounded network media, network implementation, TCP/IP addressing and implementation, network security analysis and implementation, routing and switching, WAN infrastructure, cloud and virtualization techniques, remote networking, network management, and troubleshooting. This course will also prepare you for the CompTIA Network+ (N10-007) certification exam. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to:

  • Recognize basic network theory concepts and major network communications methods.
  • Describe the difference between bounded and unbounded network media.
  • Differentiate between the major types of network implementations.
  • Utilize routing and switching technologies to segment network traffic and create resilient networks.
  • Identify the components of a TCP/IP implementation and data delivery methods.
  • Analyze and implement network security, standards, and protocols.
  • Identify the components in cloud computing and network storage.
  • Support the creation of virtualized networks.
  • Describe how to implement a remote network.
  • Manage, optimize, and monitor network performance.
  • Demonstrate how to troubleshoot common network issues.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain essential network devices.
