Writers have a different way of looking at the world – starting from a very early age. Our week-long Writer's Workshop will help you interpret the world around you in a way that makes your writing engaging and fun (for both you and your readers). During this workshop, campers will learn about different types of writing: fiction – short story/novel; non-fiction – news reporting/memoir/journaling; poetry/music writing; and essays.  Campers will also spend time each day working on college application essays.  We will study and discuss other works, learn observation skills, and master techniques that will carry over to writing for school and personal enjoyment.
