Unfortunately, the country's tax code is way too complex.  So much so, that half the population pays someone to prepare their taxes.  If you like to go at it alone, this class will offer insight into the major schedules that the average peson might encounter.  In addition to covering the basic form (1040), we will look at Schedule A (itemized deductions), Schedule B ( interest and dividends), Schedule C (self-employment), Schedule D (capital gains), Schedule E (real estate) and a few ancillary schedules that tie into one or more of the main forms.  The course will also consider overlooked deductions and ways to legally minimize everyone's tax situation.
