Payroll Fundamentals covers the fundamental concepts, calculations, fringe benefits, tax compliance, record keeping and best practices, accounting, and administration as they apply to Payroll.  Whether you want to prepare for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification exams, Payroll Fundamentals is ideal for providing you with the basic knowledge and skills required to maintain payroll compliance and prevent costly penalties. This course is great for new payroll professionals and those who support the payroll industry. 

This course is offered in partnership with the American Payroll Association and is taught by experienced professionals in the payroll field. For this course, we will be using APA’s PayTrain Fundamentals body of knowledge materials.
