This is a comprehensive overview course where you'll learn the building blocks of hosting and managing safe, effective events. You will explore a wide range of event types from corporate to special events. This program covers topics such as risk management, site selection, contracts, marketing and budgeting of various event types. Anyone who is looking to begin a career in event planning or currently works in event planning, but would like to take their career to a new level of understanding and networking, is encouraged to take this class. This course helps prepare students to succeed in the hospitality industry.
