CCSE CPE Fundamentals of Web Technology

Prerequisite: Admitted to MS in Information Technology program.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental concepts and technologies that power the modern web. Students will learn about the history and evolution of the Internet, client-server architecture, and essential web protocols. They will gain hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, mastering the skills needed to create structured, styled, and interactive web pages. The course also covers web servers, hosting, client-side and server-side scripting, and database integration. Finally, students will be introduced to crucial web security concepts, ensuring they can develop secure web applications.
