Kennesaw Mountain: Beyond the War
Kennesaw Mountain is well known for its pivotal role in the Civil War’s Atlanta Campaign and is now preserved by the National Park Service as a battlefield. Over the past 200 years, however, the mountain has been home to more than just Civil War history. This presentation focuses on the mountain’s other stories; as the home of a health resort, forgotten statues, apocalyptic visions, and a plane crash in the 1930’s.
