In this third part of our look at the 1960s, we’ll wrap up the counterculture and explore the student protest movement, the Space Race, and the moon landing. We’ll also examine the JFK assassination, the Vietnam War, and memorable events of 1969, including Super Bowl III, Chappaquiddick, the Tate-LaBianca murders, and Woodstock. This lecture/discussion class invites you to share your own memories and perspectives. Attendance in Parts I and II is not required.
