The Middle East Today: A Land of Strife and Sorrow

For thousands of years, the area we know today as the Middle East has witnessed the growth and fall of many civilizations and the founding of three major religions, it has also been the site of much bloodshed and hatred. In this class, we will look at the individual countries of the Middle East, their internal and external conflicts concluding with the current conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians.
