Bridge: Two-Over-One Game Force, ETC.

Intermediate. This is a class for students wishing to learn Two-Over-One Game Force, an adaptation of Standard American Bidding. Two-Over-One has become popular as it allows more bidding room to find the best game contract and explore slam possibilities. The 2/1 Bidding System will be covered in 3 sessions of this class. Additional topics will include: the New Minor Forcing Convention, Be a Good Defender-2 Sessions), and Getting Involved in Duplicate Bridge. The last class will be a mock duplicate bridge tournament using bidding boxes.

Textbook: Audrey Grant’s “2/1 Game Force.” Students are responsible for the purchase of the textbook.
