Iron Maidens: Iron Warships of the South

The course covers the development and building of the 50-plus iron armored warships built for the Confederacy, which approximately 22 saw active service, and over a dozen more were designed or planned and never constructed. A failed program of constructing iron warships that would never fight, and the few that did, fought against staggering odds.
