In this second part, we'll continue to examine some of the most serious blunders of World War II, analyzing their impacts on the war's progression and the decisions behind them. Did it cost additional casualties, was it poor planning by the individual leaders or did necessity drive it? Some were obviously honest efforts, some were politically motivated, some were service bias, and some were just plain ego driven. You may be surprised at how many were covered by secrecy for years and still do not get full historical coverage due to classification. However, with an 80-year reverse telescope some events appear far clearer today while some are still cloudy. This class will allow for class discussion. Attendance in Part I is not required to join Part II.
