This course will provide an overview of the basic features of Chrome, considered one of the most widely used browsers in the world today. We will explore the various browser settings available, how to manage bookmarks, and ways to customize Chrome. In addition, the course will cover privacy and security issues, and some of the more obscure setting options for managing cookies, accessibility, and other personal preferences. We will also look at best practices for navigating the web safely and consider some of the concerns that have become increasingly important. Toward the end of the course, we will do a brief tour of Google’s AI model, Gemini, and discuss how it compares with other AI options.
