Data Science Bootcamp: Stats and R for Future Innovators (Grades 9-12)

In collaboration with Kennesaw State University's College of Computing and Software Engineering.

This introductory course explores fundamental concepts in Probability and Statistics through the lens of the Scientific Method—Research Questions, Data Collection, Analysis, and Conclusions. Students will learn to apply these concepts using R, a versatile open-source statistical software, to perform data analysis and create visualizations. With hands-on exercises and practical examples, participants will develop a solid foundation in statistical reasoning and basic R programming skills.
