In collaboration with Kennesaw State University's Coles College of Business.

Discover what it takes to turn ideas into reality in this immersive two-week entrepreneurship program at Coles College. Through hands-on activities, creative problem-solving, and team challenges, students will explore the fundamentals of business development, marketing, innovation, and leadership. From brainstorming ideas to developing a prototype and marketing plan to presenting a pitch, participants will gain valuable insights into the entrepreneurial mindset while building confidence and collaboration skills. Whether aspiring business owners or curious innovators, students will leave with a deeper understanding of what it takes to integrate information across business disciplines to launch and sustain a successful venture.

In addition to exploring the fundamentals of business, marketing, and leadership, students will also get hands-on experience with 3D printing technology, a powerful tool for prototyping and innovation. Participants will learn how to design simple 3D models, understand the basics of additive manufacturing, and see their ideas transformed from digital concepts into physical prototypes. Whether designing a product, customizing a logo, or testing an innovative idea, students will experience the intersection of creativity, business, and technology. This immersive experience will help them understand how rapid prototyping plays a key role in modern entrepreneurship, giving them a competitive edge in turning their ideas into reality.

Marketing plays a major role in modern entrepreneurship, integrating information across business disciplines, from idea generation to product launch, to sustaining a successful venture through sales and continuous product improvement. Students will learn skills to identify a potential target market for their new idea and develop a marketing plan aimed at that target. Participants will learn how to engage customers, bringing creativity to life as a prototype or promotional materials using the 3-D lab. Finally, they will create advertisements designed to reach and engage their target using appropriate media which they will pitch to the group. This collaborative experience will bring life to their new product while enhancing their skills as future entrepreneurs.
