The US Constitution is the oldest still in use original document in the world. It works because it is designed to keep its nation and its diverse population alive and vibrant through the natural tension created by forced interplays of levels of government. 2017 is a banner year for learning the nuances of how to influence others to your understanding of the US Constitution. This course will use case studies of significant local US elections over the last century to demonstrate how no one point of view can control decision making in the US. This course will also examine the differences created by the Electronic Revolution.
