Do you aspire to be an integral part of the healthcare field?  Our program has partnered with the American Academy of Professional Coders™ (AAPC) to become a professional medical coding educational site – a gold standard organization – which will help distinguish you as a qualified candidate looking to enter this rapidly growing field.

This program will train you to successfully serve as the communication liaison between physician offices, patients, and insurance companies while translating and assigning universally recognized codes to patient illnesses, injuries, and medical procedures. It also includes lecture and hands-on instruction teaching you ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding guidelines and conventions, outpatient and physician office, and HCPCS level II index coding. Additionally, you will learn CPT coding, with emphasis on evaluation and management, anesthesia, surgery, radiology, pathology and laboratory, and medicine coding.

This certificate program will assist you in preparing for the American Academy of Professional Coders™ Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) exam. This program focuses solely on physician office coding.
